Takigi Noh Performance in Iwamura Castle Ruins
The traditional open-air Noh performance, Takigi Noh is held on the ruins of the Iwamura feudal lord’s residence. Bonfires are lit on a specially constructed stage, making the most of the natural scenery, with the large pine trees that watched over historical Iwamura Castle and the castle town as a backdrop.
The performance is staged by the light of the moon and crackling bonfires, providing an ethereal experience.
Enjoy the best of traditional Japanese performing arts.
